The Pest Rangers is committed to making thepestrangers.com accessible to everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice control, magnification, and other assistive technology. What standards we follow

We are working to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), and we are building toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content usable for people with a wide range of disabilities. Level AA is the standard referenced by the U.S. Department of Justice and by most accessibility laws around the world.

What we are doing

We are actively improving the site and treat accessibility as an ongoing responsibility rather than a one-time project. Our current work includes the following.

• Reviewing every page for color contrast, heading structure, and keyboard access
• Adding descriptive alternative text to images and labels to icons and buttons
• Providing a visible “Skip to main content” link and a clear keyboard focus indicator
• Testing our quote request, scheduling, and payment tools with keyboard-only navigation and screen readers
• Training our content team so new blog posts, service pages, and location pages meet the same standard
• Running automated and manual accessibility checks on a regular schedule

Known limitations

We want to be upfront about areas we are still working on. Some images added before our accessibility review may lack descriptive alternative text. Some third-party tools embedded on the site, including our online quote form, map embeds, and payment portal, are provided by outside vendors, and we are working with those vendors to confirm they meet the same standard. If any of these cause a problem for you, contact us and we will help you complete the task another way.
